1What We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the platform:
Identity & Account Data
Full name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, profile photo, and government-issued ID details submitted for verification.
Professional Information
Skills, work experience, education, certifications, portfolio photos, and work history you add to your profile.
Usage & Activity Data
Pages visited, searches performed, profiles viewed, messages sent, and interactions with the platform.
Device & Technical Data
IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and crash/error logs.
Location Data
City and region-level location data to show relevant professionals and improve local search results.
Financial Data
Payment method details for subscriptions are collected and stored by Razorpay (PCI-DSS certified). Kredku does not store card or bank account numbers. Razorpay retains billing and transaction records in accordance with their own privacy policy and applicable financial regulations.
Session & Web Portal Data
When you access the Kredku web account portal (kredku.com/account), we store a session cookie (kredku_logged_in) and may issue a short-lived single-use token to authenticate you from the mobile app. These tokens expire within 5 minutes and are invalidated after first use.
2How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to operate, improve, and personalize the Kredku platform:
- Create and maintain your professional profile and Kredku Score
- Verify your identity, certifications, and professional background
- Match customers with relevant professionals based on skills and location
- Send important service notifications, job enquiries, and platform updates
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and platform violations
- Analyze usage to improve features and personalize your experience
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
- Send marketing communications (you may opt out at any time)
3Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
Service Providers
Cloud hosting, payment processors, identity verification partners, and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
Customers & Clients
Your public profile information (name, profession, reviews, Kredku Score, portfolio) is visible to customers searching the platform.
Verification Partners
Government ID and background check providers to verify your identity and credentials.
Legal Authorities
When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Kredku users.
4Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
Encryption
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).

Request deletion of your account via kredku.com/account or by emailing us. Your profile is removed from search immediately. Account data is permanently deleted 30 days after your request — contact us within that window to cancel the deletion.
Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Object to data processing for direct marketing or based on legitimate interests.
Request that we limit processing of your data in certain circumstances.
